Requirements

To stake KNC, you just need an Ethereum wallet that holds KNC tokens. Note that only KNC on the Ethereum network can be staked since the DAO smart contracts are on the Ethereum network.

How to Stake

Step 1: Visit https://kyberswap.com/kyberdao/stake-knc

Step 2: Connect your wallet (that has KNC)

Step 3: If this is the first time you're interacting with the DAO smart contract, you will first need to approve your KNC balance for use. Click the "Approve" button. This is a one-time onchain transaction that will incur gas fees.

Once this is done, the "Stake" button should appear.

Step 4: Specify the amount to stake either by typing in an amount manually or using the "Max" and "Half" buttons and then click "Stake". This is an onchain transaction that will incur gas fees.

The staking transaction should appear on your Transaction History.

Limitations

If you stake KNC in epoch “n”, you or your delegate will only be eligible to vote in epoch “n+1” (next epoch onwards). Example:
